Normally, I love to start off the New Year with a bang.
New Year. New plans. New goals.
It’s like opening a new journal for the first time with all of the blank pages inviting opportunity and adventure. I love the thrill and excitement of it all.
But this year everything has just feltā¦ Well, it’s just felt flat.
Honestly, I am tired of looking at everyone’s annual recaps on social media and reading their in and out lists. I can’t keep up with what’s in and what’s out and staying on top of the trends is starting to feel completely overwhelming a little exhausting.
Who knowsā¦ Maybe it’s because my family and I spent most of the month of December and the entire holiday sick and we are still not recovered!
I’m seriously starting to wonder if the world’s biggest referral network hype woman turned into a grinch over the holidays?

How do you keep your physician referral network moving forward when you feel stuck?
1. Stay the course –
It’s all about consistency over time. Keep doing the things you know make a difference and continue to make regular office visits on referring providers.
2. Give yourself permission not to be like everyone else –
Trying to keep up with everyone else is exhausting. Be the best version of you that you can be. Besides, no one else can compete with you.
3. Stick with what works –
It’s easy to get distracted by the new. New goals. New ideas. New. New. New. But in reality, what’s often needed is more of what’s already working.
