I’m going to let you in on a little secret…
Your physician liaison feels like they’re on an island.
I know all too well from personal experience, many days that island feels like it’s deserted.
Don’t worry…
It’s not because you’re doing things wrong.
Chances are, you’re doing exactly what you need to be doing in a busy practice which is focusing on patients.
But that doesn’t allow much time to focus on your physician liaison.
Your liaison won’t tell you this, but it gets really lonely out there in the field wondering if you’re doing things right or if you’ve got it all wrong.
They won’t tell you this because they do enjoy their job (most days) and want you to think they’re doing it well.
Even the best practices with stellar referral networks struggle to truly understand what it’s like out there in the field all day every day.
Priorities or policies often get made that may seem good and well but are out of touch with the needs of the liaison or referring physician. Liaisons are torn between trying to please their practice leadership or their referring physicians.
How do I know this? Because I work with practices every day who are walking this tightrope (I get it… I’ve been there!)
That’s exactly why we created the Elite Performance Boot Camp, to support practices and business development teams as they strive to build their referral networks.
The Elite Performance Boot Camp is our exclusive training program designed with busy practices in mind to create rapid and sustained referral network growth.
