If I get another email or DM that says…

We came across your name on LinkedIn and were so impressed with your business…

Or… Just talking about your biz today…

Or… I know you need help with lead gen.

I think I’m going to scream. 😤

Seriously??? How do you know emailer person??? You don’t even know me!!! Or anything about me or my business for that matter.

Yes, you may have found my name from some paid version of LinkedIn. But no, you’re not impressed with my business. You don’t have any idea if I need help with lead gen. Blah. Blah. Blah…

How do I know? You’ve miss-spelled my name, offered me a product that’s completely unrelated to my business, and that’s just the spam I got from today…

Um… No. Just no.

Immediate block. I don’t have time for that. 🚫

🔸 Get names right, and then use them

Everyone loves to hear the sound of their own names. Make sure you’re saying and spelling them properly.

🔸 You have what they need. Is your message reflecting that?

All too often physician liaisons go into a potential referring doctor’s office with a laundry list of services or a spiel that doesn’t relate to that specific practice. Address their concerns and the concerns of their patients.

🔸 Don’t lie

This should go without saying, but don’t offer something you can’t deliver or say you admire something about a practice, if you don’t. Be authentic and genuine. In our AI generated and over-marketed culture, build trust by being your honest and authentic self.
